The ADAS Show has been postponed due to heavy Pune rains. Now to be held next year, the event will feature live demos and global collaborations.
The ADAS Show, India’s premier event on advanced driver assistance systems and autonomous mobility, has been postponed from December 12, 2025, to February 12, 2026, at ARAI’s ADAS Test City in Takwe, Pune.
Prolonged heavy rains in the region delayed final construction and surface finishing of the proving ground.
Organised by Aayera, the event will feature live ADAS testing demonstrations by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) using advanced instrumentation for validation and certification.
Leading OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and technology firms will showcase vehicles and innovations at the pseudo-city facility designed for real-world ADAS and autonomous vehicle trials.
Syed Fareed Ahmed, Director of Aayera, stated that the extended timeline allows greater participation from global ADAS and autonomous technology companies. It provides an enhanced platform for track demonstrations, product launches, and international collaborations.
The ADAS Test City represents a significant infrastructure for safety and intelligent mobility development in India.
Despite round-the-clock efforts by project teams, achieving the required precision for track surfaces and supporting facilities before the original date proved unfeasible due to adverse weather.
ARAI, established in 1966 under the Ministry of Heavy Industries, continues to support vehicle safety, emissions, and efficiency through R&D, testing, homologation, and regulation framing. The rescheduled show aligns with its role in advancing automotive standards.
