Aprilia has launched the Tuono 457 Special Edition in India, featuring exclusive Mamba Black and Puma Grey liveries inspired by the 2006 Tuono 1000R.
Aprilia has officially expanded its premium sub-middleweight motorcycle line-up with the introduction of a special edition variant of the Tuono 457. This limited-run motorcycle has been launched in the Indian market with an ex-showroom price tag of ₹3.99 lakh.
According to the manufacturer, this specific iteration pays homage to the brand's rich super-naked heritage by utilising styling cues heavily influenced by one of its most iconic classic models.
The Tuono 457 Special Edition is being made available to motorcycle enthusiasts in two distinct new liveries that draw their direct aesthetic inspiration from the 2006 Tuono 1000R superbike.
Buyers can choose their machines finished in either Mamba Black or a Puma Grey colour scheme, both of which come paired with unique contrast graphics and a factory-fitted smoked flyscreen positioned over the front headlamp cowl.

Beyond these purely visual enhancements, the Italian bikemaker has also reworked the motorcycle's overall ergonomics with rider comfort in mind. The stock saddle layout has been modified to provide better support during daily commutes, whilst the wide handlebar assembly has been set slightly higher than the standard model to offer a more upright, relaxed, and commanding riding posture.
Additional revisions to the package include an adjustable front brake lever to accommodate different hand sizes and a subtly tweaked suspension setup tailored for improved ride compliance.
Underneath its heritage-inspired bodywork, the Tuono 457 Special Edition retains its highly acclaimed, modern mechanical core. The motorcycle is propelled by a 457 cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine that generates a maximum power output of 47 bhp alongside a peak torque rating of 43.5 Nm. This powerplant remains paired with a slick-shifting six-speed gearbox.
