It gets an upgraded 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo engine as well as retuned chassis, suspension and throttle caliberation.
Aston Martin today proudly announced the launch of the new Vantage S, hailed as the most performance-focused model in its acclaimed sports car range. This latest addition, set to make its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025, gets an upgraded 4.0-litre V8 Twin-Turbo engine, now boasting of 671bhp and 800Nm of torque. 0-100 kmph is done in just 3.4 seconds while top speed is 325 kmph. Deliveries for the Vantage S are expected to commence in Q4 2025 globally.
Beyond raw power, Aston Martin engineers have refined the Vantage S's chassis, suspension, and throttle calibration to deliver an even more connected and exhilarating driving experience. Detailed changes include recalibrated Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers for enhanced front-end feel, reduced rear spring aid stiffness for improved low-speed ride quality, and a 10 per cent reduction in transmission mount stiffness. Direct mounting of the rear subframe further sharpens steering response and directness. The car offers five selectable drive modes: Wet, Sport, Sports Plus, Track, and Individual, tailoring drivetrain, steering, and chassis calibrations to driver preference.
Visually, the Vantage S distinguishes itself with dramatic new centrally mounted bonnet blades, available in gloss black or 2x2 Twill Carbon Fibre, which also optimise hot air extraction from the V8 engine. Discreet yet striking 'S' badging adorns the front fenders, featuring a brass forged 'S' infilled with red glass enamel. A full-width decklid spoiler enhances rear downforce by 44kg at Vmax, contributing to an overall 111kg of downforce at Vmax for increased stability and exceptional turn-in response.
Inside, the Vantage S features a unique Alcantara and leather 'Accelerate' interior as standard, complemented by satin 2x2 twill carbon fibre trim inlays. Embroidered 'S' logos on the seat shoulders, crafted with almost 2,500 individual stitches, underscore the commitment to luxury and performance.
Optional features include red or silver anodised finishes to the knurled metal drive mode rotary, creating a bold centrepiece in the cabin. The Vantage S continues Aston Martin's rich tradition of high-performance 'S' models, a lineage dating back to the 1953 DB3S.
