As of now, prices for Ather electric scooters start at ₹1.05 lakh for Rizta S and go up to ₹1.90 lakh (both ex-showroom) for the top-spec 450 Apex.
Ather Energy has announced a price hike for its entire scooter lineup up to ₹3,000 effective from 1 January 2026. The Bengaluru-based EV startup has cited rise in input cost due increased prices of raw material, forex and key electronics components globally. As a relief to prospective consumers, the company has introduced some offers for the month of December.
Ather is urging its buyers to utilize this window of opportunity by availing the attractive benefits on offer in the remaining days of the year. The company’s ongoing ‘Electric December’ offer provides benefits of up to ₹20,000 in select cities. These include instant credit card EMI discounts, cash incentives, and a complimentary eight-year extended battery warranty on select models, along with financing support from multiple partners.
In its third year now, the Electric December offer from Ather aims to deliver long-term value to EV buyers even during year-end purchase windows, through consistent hardware-software integration and dependable after-sales support. Ather’s current product portfolio consists of two lineups: 450 Series and Rizta.

The 450 range of electric scooters, including 450 X, 450 S, and 450 Apex, offers features such as multi-mode traction control and MagicTwist throttle, along with connected functions like Google Maps navigation, WhatsApp integration on the dashboard, and call and music controls. The Rizta has become the brand's highest-selling electric scooter in the country ever since it made its debut at the Ather Community Day in April 2024.
The battery-powered scooter recently crossed the 2 lakh sales milestone and has contributed to Ather’s expansion into new regions and the growth of its retail network nationwide. With focus on comfort and practicality, the Ather Rizta offers 56 litres of storage, comprising 34 litres under the seat and an optional 22-litre frunk, along with a wide seat and generous floorboard space suited for everyday family use. The Rizta also comes equipped with safety features such as SkidControl, Fall Safe, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), and theft and tow alerts.
