Ather Energy Opens 100th Service Centre in Maharashtra

Ather Energy has opened its 100th service centre in Maharashtra, with the latest facility coming up in Kondhwa, Pune, the company announced on Friday. This makes Maharashtra the first state in Ather’s network to hit 100 service centres.

With the latest service centre, the state has become the first in Ather’s network to have 100 outlets each for sales and service.

"Maharashtra becomes Ather's first state to get to 100 sales outlets, and now also the first state to get to 100 service centres," Tarun Mehta, CEO and Co-founder, Ather Energy, said in a statement.

Maharashtra is a key market for Ather, which is continuing to add customer touchpoints across the state. The expansion of the service network is particularly significant for an electric two-wheeler manufacturer as a wider after-sales footprint can improve access to routine maintenance, repairs and technical support.

The latest expansion gives Maharashtra a distinct position within Ather’s national network, with the state now having 100 sales outlets and 100 service centres. The company said the expansion is aimed at supporting its growing customer base as electric two-wheeler adoption increases in India.

Ather’s parallel expansion of sales and service facilities in Maharashtra suggests the company is seeking to build its retail and after-sales footprint together rather than relying solely on showroom expansion.

The Pune facility also takes the company’s physical presence deeper into one of Maharashtra’s key urban markets.

The company’s next phase of network expansion will determine how quickly it can replicate the Maharashtra model across other states and strengthen its service coverage alongside rising electric two-wheeler sales.
