Bookings for the new Ather Konarc are open while deliveries are scheduled to commence on September 21, 2026.
Ather Energy has launched the new Konarc electric scooter, bringing the brand’s most accessible e-scooter to the market. The new Ather Konarc is priced from ₹99,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), and will be available in three variants - S 100, S 125, and S 161. The company claims a range of up to 200 km on a single charge, albeit the Z variant lineup with the higher range will go on sale in Q3 2027. Bookings for the new Konarc are open while deliveries are scheduled to commence on September 21, 2026.
The Ather Konarc was the big ticket launch at the ‘Ather Community Day’ event. The new e-scooter is based on the EL-platform showcased last year, and comes with a conventional design coupled with several innovations. The e-scooter uses telescopic forks up front with 90 mm of travel and a single shock absorber at the rear with 100 mm of travel. The wheelbase is long at 1,352 mm, while a 14-inch front wheel and a 12-inch rear wheel promises exceptional ride and handling. Braking comes from a 220 mm front disc brake and a 130 mm rear drum brake on the top trim, while the lower variant gets a drum brake setup.

The Ather Konarc has different power outputs depending on the trim. The PMS motor remains standard but produces 5.3 bhp and 16 Nm on the S 100. Meanwhile, the S 125 and S 161 get the more powerful 6.3 bhp output while peak torque remains the same at 16 Nm. The S 100 uses a smaller 2.1 kWh battery pack with a range of 100 km (IDC) and a True Range of 80 kmph.
The Konarc S 125 km is the mid-level trim and packs 6.3 bhp and 16 Nm, while power comes from a slightly bigger 2.7 kWh battery pack with 125 km (IDC) of range and a True Range of 100 km. Lastly, the Konarc S 161 has the same power output as the S 100, but gets a bigger 3.5 kWh battery with 161 km (IDC) range, and a True Range of 130 km. All three trims have a top speed of 70 kmph.
The Ather Konarc comes with a 450-watt onboard charger as standard, which can be combined with the 900-watt off-board charger, giving a total charging capacity of 1.35 kW. The e-scooter can be charged from 0-80 per cent in 4 hours on the S 100, 4 hrs and 30 mins on the S 125 and 5 hrs and 40 mins on the S 161. This drops the charging time by 2 hours, 2 hrs and 25 mins, and 3 hrs and 10 mins on the respective battery packs.
The Ather Konarc packs several innovations like the AirWalk feature that offers motorised support when parking the vehicle. You also get a lounge-style backrest that can extend and expand, offering better support. The AutoPop feature on the Z variant allows you to remotely open the seat to access the under-seat storage. There’s also the MagicKey on the top Z variant that brings remote functionality to start the scooter. The vehicle detects the proximity of the key and will start automatically, as long as the rider is seated on the scooter.
On the feature front, the Konarc gets 31 litres of under-seat storage, an 18W USB Type-C port, and a digital console. The Konarc S 100 uses a basic 4.2-inch DeepView display, while the S 100 and S 161 get the 7-inch DeepView display. Assistance features such as Park Assist and AutoHold make it to the new e-scooter as well. Ather has also introduced an Advanced Electronic Braking System (AEBS), which brings more controlled braking and has been optimised for Indian road conditions. The upcoming Konarc Z variant will further bring features such as Google Maps and WhatsApp connectivity on the dashboard.

Ather has further improved the in-app experience with more features including a battery and vehicle health monitor. Moreover, it will now be able to provide an estimated resale value of the vehicle itself after a three-year ownership period. Ather is offering the new Konarc with a three-year/30,000 km warranty as standard, while the service intervals will be longer at every 10,000 km or once a year. The extended warranty will be available for up to 10 years/100,000 km.
