Ather Rizta Deliveries Begin In Select Cities

Ather has officially begun deliveries of its much-anticipated Rizta family electric scooter in a select number of cities. The announcement comes after a social media post by Ather’s CEO and Co-founder, Tarun Mehta featuring a video showcasing the Rizta's assembly line.

Previously, Tarun Mehta tweeted about the Ather Rizta starting production. In a new development, he has posted a video on Instagram showcasing the scooter's assembly line. The caption confirms that deliveries have commenced in Ahmedabad, Pune, Delhi, Lucknow, Agra, Jaipur, Nagpur, and across Andhra Pradesh, with other cities to follow soon. The ex-showroom price in Bengaluru starts at ₹1.09 lakh and goes up to ₹1.44 lakh depending on the variant.

The Ather Rizta offers two battery options: a 2.9 kWh version available in two variants (Rizta S and Rizta Z), while the higher capacity 3.7 kWh battery is exclusive to the top model. It comes equipped with two riding modes. Additionally, an optional "pro pack" for ₹20,000 unlocks a wider range of tech-based features for the next three years. These include features via the new AtherStack6 update that get you the likes of integrated Google Maps,  WhatsApp Preview on Dash, and Auto Reply to Calls. The scooter has an IDC range of 123 km on the smaller battery and 153 km on the larger one.

While the Ather Rizta shares its platform with the brand's 450 series, it has a completely new design crafted from the ground up to prioritise family functionality.  This focus on practicality translates into a clean and simple aesthetic, with every aspect of the scooter designed for usability. In addition to a massive 34-litre under-seat storage compartment, the Rizta boasts a unique 22-litre frunk, making it the only scooter on the market to offer such a convenient feature. This scooter also has the longest seat on any scooter.
