Simple advertising which conveys to the point message for the masses

Ather Energy has roped in Indian WWE legend The Great Khali to promote its upcoming scooter, the Ather Rizta. The campaign, titled "Sab se bada seat" capitalises on Khali's larger-than-life persona and his affinity for all things big. This has been a part of the wrestler-turned-social media influencer’s journey where he has done collabs with other brands for things that are stronger or larger than usual.

This simple ad showcases Khali slapping the seat to demonstrate its ample width. This visual endorsement, coupled with Khali's ‘unique’ Hindi sentences conveying the message, creates a clear and memorable message which is expected to reach the masses in a simple manner.

Ather has also put up billboards in Mumbai and Ahmedabad featuring the "XXXXXXL" seat, which has also been mentioned in this “The Great Khali” campaign. This amplifies the campaign's focus on size and comfort.

While details about the Rizta remain under wraps, it will share the same platform as the current Ather 450X scooter. It's expected to prioritise range and efficiency, potentially compromising slightly on performance compared to its sibling.

The Ather Community Day on April 6th will unveil the Rizta's specifications, pricing, and likely position it competitively below the current Ather 450S. This strategic move positions the Rizta as an attractive option filling the gap for those seeking comfort, affordability, and practicality in the Ather 450 lineup.
