Ather to Unveil Affordable EL Platform Electric Scooter On August 29

Ather Energy has confirmed that it will unveil its first mass-market electric scooter based on the all-new EL platform during the fourth edition of Ather Community Day. The Ather EL-01 will be unveiled on August 29, 2026 in Bengaluru. Designed as Ather's next-generation vehicle architecture, the new platform is engineered for greater scalability, manufacturing efficiency and versatility. It is expected to underpin multiple future products across different segments.

With the new scooter, Ather is set to enter the highly competitive mass-market electric scooter segment, targeting the ₹1 lakh to ₹1.25 lakh price bracket. The new affordable electric scooter will play a key role in improving sales for the company by introducing a product at an accessible price point.

The 2026 event, themed "A New Dawn of Magic", is expected to offer a closer look at Ather's future product roadmap. Apart from the new scooter, Ather has also announced that Community Day 2026 will feature several innovations across vehicle technology, charging infrastructure and the overall ownership ecosystem.
