Ahead of its debut tomorrow, Acko Drive managed to get an exclusive peek of the VF 3.
VinFast, the Vietnamese automaker, will debut in India at the 2025 Auto Expo on January 17. The company will showcase several models, including the VF 3 compact electric vehicle (EV), alongside the VF 5, VF 7, and VF e34. Ahead of its debut tomorrow, Acko Drive managed to get an exclusive peek of the VF 3.
The VF 3 features a distinctive upright design with tall pillars, clean lines, and a contemporary lighting system. Its bold horizontal chrome grille spans the width of both the front and rear, adding to its aesthetic appeal. Built for versatility, the VF 3 offers ample ground clearance and is equipped with 16-inch wheels, enabling it to navigate diverse terrains with ease.
Measuring approximately 3191 mm in length, 1679 mm in width, and 1621 mm in height, the compact dimensions of the VF 3 make it particularly suited for crowded urban environments. The vehicle is powered by an electric motor with a target range of over 201 km per charge.
Inside, the VF 3 features a minimalist design philosophy, focusing on comfort and essential features. The cabin includes a 10-inch infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Practicality is further enhanced by the foldable second-row seats, which expand the cargo space to a generous 550 liters.
The VF 3 made its initial debut in Vietnam a year and a half ago and has since been launched in several international markets. With its foray into India, VinFast aims to tap into the growing demand for EVs. The company has already made a significant investment of over ₹4,000 crore to establish a production facility in Tamil Nadu.
