Hero's stalwarts from EICMA 2024 will make their comeback on home grounds, in familiar territories.
Hero MotoCorp's intention to be a premium bikemaker in the country has never been more apparent than before. Especially when you take into count its current offerings. From the Karizma XMR to the Mavrick 440 – in the motorcycle portfolio, to the Xoom 110 and the yet-to-launch Destini 125 in scooters. All of these make a pretty honest attempt to display a nice sense of exuberance. The country's largest and most popular bikemaker will continue doing the same at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo. And here's what you should look forward to from Hero at the Bharat Mandapam.
Both the Karizma XMR 250 and Xtreme 250R were unveiled last year at EICMA 2024. The Xtreme 250R will also kickstart Hero's campaign in European markets this year. The same bike is expected to make its way here to Delhi, and probably launch as well. A bigger 250 cc engine powers both, and the duo share the same underpinnings and hardware components too. Head to the link here to learn more about the Karizma 250, and here for the Xtreme 250R.
Hero MotoCorp took the covers off the Xoom 160 back in EICMA 2023. Its launch in India was confirmed in a financial filing statement in the fourth quarter of FY2024-25 last year. So our hopes couldn't get higher than its launch will happen at the upcoming Auto Expo 2025. A proper, road-biased adventure scooter from Hero MotoCorp that not just looks the part, but reserves the potential to impress us in the future as well. Just on paper, it has a slightly bigger engine than Yamaha's Aerox 155. We can't wait for how good and enjoyable that could be in real life.
As slightly upsetting as it was, nonetheless, it's still an upgrade for the XPulse badge. After all the Hero XPulse 210 was unveiled in EICMA 2024 alongside the Xtreme 250R and Karizma XMR 250. So, we expected that Hero would have the complete 250 cc family on stage. But instead, Hero went with the Karizma XMR 210's 210 cc engine in the adventure bike here. This upgraded model will be showcased at this year’s expo as well. Hero is also expected to reveal the ex-showroom price of the bike in India.
Hero MotoCorp will be starting to test its flex-fuel bikes from 2025 onwards and the same will be displayed at the expo.. While an official launch date is still a few months away from being confirmed, nonetheless we couldn't be more excited to how the bikes could be.
