Acko Drive Best Of Show At Auto Expo 2025: Hyundai Creta Electric Wins Best Global Debut

The Hyundai Creta Electric was launched at the Auto Expo 2025 and yes, it was the global debut. This electric compact SUV is only made in India, which therefore, becomes an extremely important market for Hyundai. Based on the company's ICE version SUV, the Creta Electric is the company's first all-electric compact SUV in India. The fact that Hyundai decided to launch the EV version in the country shows its commitment to the progress of electric vehicles here. That's why it won the Best Of Show Global Debut. 

Acko Drive's editor-in-chief, Siddharth Vinayak Patankar, has been key in organising the awards where we recognise the best candidates at the Auto Expos, a tradition that he has been doing so for a number of editions. For this year’s iteration, he was joined by Yogendra Pratap, Renuka Kirpalani, Hani Mustafa and members of team Acko Drive to carefully evaluate and pick the winner.

While there were other nominees like the BMW iXL, Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, and the three vehicles from Tata Motors - Avinya X, Sierra and Harrier EV. The Creta Electric, however, stood strong because the company had a strong plan. The jury members also felt that the India launch of this SUV sends a strong message.
