Auto Sales April 2025: Kia Registers 18.3% Growth With 23,623 Units Sold

In April 2025, Kia India sold 23,632 units, witnessing a year-on-year growth of 18.3 per cent compared to April 2024, when it sold 19,968 units. In the first four months of 2025, Kia India witnessed a YoY growth of 16.2 per cent, compared to the same period last year.

The Sonet has been the best selling model for Kia for a few months in a row now. In April 2025 too, it retained that title with 8068 units sold. It was followed by the Seltos with 6,135 units, Carens with 5,259 units and Syros with 4,000 units. Even the Carnival saw a growth in sales as Kia managed to dispatch 161 units of the luxury MPV.

Kia India is now gearing up to launch the new Clavis, which is essentially a heavy facelift of the Carens MPV and will be positioned as a more premium alternative. It will launch in India on May 8, 2025, and will be sold alongside the Carens. There is also an electric version of the Carens/Clavis in the works, which will be launched in the coming months.
