Honda launched two new motorcycle models in India during August - the CB125 Hornet and Shine 100 DX. The company began regional rollouts and started mass deliveries of both bikes across the country.
Regional launch events took place in Ludhiana, Nashik, Noida, Pune, Chennai, Jodhpur, Mysore, Dhanbad, Muzaffarpur, Lucknow, and Jaipur, with Honda describing them as highly successful. The firm also opened new BigWing premium outlets in Gurugram, Bengaluru, and Chennai to strengthen its presence in the high-end motorcycle segment.
Honda ran road safety awareness programmes across 12 Indian cities last month, targeting young riders with messages about safe driving practices. The cities covered included Bhiwadi, Prayagraj, Nayagarh, Budaun, Akola, Warangal, Nandurbar, Bangalore, Trichy, Gandhinagar, Jodhpur, and Bhatinda. The manufacturer also celebrated six years of its Safety Driving Education Centre in Ranchi, which trains people in responsible road behaviour and decision-making skills for safer journeys.
