Mahindra’s cumulative month-on-month sales increased by 15 per cent too.
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd SUV portfolio continues to reap huge profits for the company, registering 19 per cent year-on-year growth by retailing 50,420 SUVs. This further marks a 20 per cent year-to-date growth, wherein Mahindra has, till now, managed to retail 5,03,439 SUVs from April onwards, compared to 4,19,233 units it retailed in the same period the year before.
Its overall month-on-month sales grew by 15 per cent, and it retailed 83,702 vehicles, including both commercial and passenger vehicles. But its cumulative export business registered the most profit, which grew by a whopping 99 percent on a year-on-year basis. Mahindra exported 3,061 units, compared to 1,539 units it exported last February.
“This strong performance is a result of a continued positive momentum for our SUV Portfolio,” stressed Veejay Nakra, President, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd.
