Auto Sales January 2024: Bajaj Auto Reports A Strong Start

Bajaj Auto, cruised into 2024 with impressive year-on-year growth. January 2024 saw domestic two-wheeler sales surge by a remarkable 36% compared to the same period last year. Domestic commercial vehicle sales also went up, growing by a healthy 12%. This translates to a 31% jump in overall domestic sales for Bajaj Auto. Exports joined the party as well, with two-wheeler exports rising by 14% and total exports increasing by 12%.

Two-wheeler export, however, requires some attention. Despite the YTD growth, the slight decline in January sales could disrupt the company’s momentum. With the showcasing of the new digital console-equipped Pulsars as well as the larger 250 update and 400 incoming, Bajaj could witness a lot of demand for its sporty motorcycles in 2024.
