Auto Sales July 2025: Bajaj Auto Export Business Continues To Register Positive Sentiment

Bajaj Auto’s domestic sales continue to underperform both on a Year-on-Year and Year-to-Date basis.

Bajaj Auto sold 3,66,000 two-wheelers and commercial vehicles in July 2025, out of which 1,88,143 units were retailed in the domestic market, while the rest 1,82,857 units were exported. Domestic sales saw a steep 13% drop compared to the 2,10,997 units retailed in July 2024. While export business grew by an encouraging 28% against the 1,43,172 units shipped in July 2024.

Furthermore, Bajaj Auto’s two-wheeler sales performance in the domestic market fell by 18% last month, with sales of 1,39,279 units, against the 1,68,847 units it retailed last year in the same month. Two-wheeler exports increased 22% to 2,96,247 two-wheelers last month.

During Q1 FY26. Bajaj Auto sold 6,68,623 two-wheelers in the domestic market, and exported 5,76,415 units.

Cumulatively, Bajaj Auto registered sales of 14,77,237 two-wheelers and three-wheelers in Q1 FY 2026. This translates to a 1% growth in business, compared to the 14,56,225 units sold during the same period last year.

Moving forward, Bajaj Auto will focus on further expanding its electric two-wheeler portfolio with more Chetak variants and plans to make its 125 cc portfolio more competitive. Bajaj introduced the Pulsar N125 earlier this year, and another launch is coming up in the next few months.
