Mahindra sold 1,52,067 utility vehicles in Q1 FY26, marking a 22% rise over the 1,24,248 units sold in the same period last year.
Mahindra has reported a total of 78,969 vehicles sold in June 2025, registering a 14% growth over the same period last year. The figure includes both domestic sales and exports across all categories. The utility vehicle segment, which includes Mahindra’s core SUV portfolio, was the primary driver of this growth. The company sold 47,306 SUVs in the domestic market, an 18% year-on-year increase. Including exports, utility vehicle sales reached 48,329 units. Cumulatively, Mahindra’s year-to-date utility vehicle sales for FY26 (April–June) stand at 1,52,067 units, reflecting a 22% increase from the 1,24,248 units sold during the same period in FY25.

In the commercial vehicle segment, domestic sales were mixed. Light commercial vehicles (LCVs) under 2 tonnes recorded a decline of 20%, with 2,576 units sold in June 2025 compared to 3,227 units in June 2024. In contrast, LCVs in the 2 to 3.5-tonne category posted modest growth of 4%, with 16,772 units sold. The heavier commercial vehicles, including LCVs above 3.5 tonnes and medium and heavy commercial vehicles (MHCVs), saw a marginal increase of 1% year-on-year.

Three-wheeler sales, which include electric variants, grew significantly by 37%, reaching 8,454 units in June 2025, up from 6,180 units in June 2024. This segment continues to benefit from rising demand for last-mile mobility solutions and the company’s expanding electric vehicle portfolio.

On the exports front, Mahindra shipped 2,634 vehicles in June 2025, a slight increase of 1% over the previous year. However, year-to-date export figures show stronger momentum with a 36% increase to 9,667 units, compared to 7,125 units in the same period last year.
