Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) reported a modest year-on-year growth of 5 per cent in its monthly vehicle sales for June 2025, with total wholesales standing at 28,869 units. This figure includes 26,453 units sold in the domestic market and 2,416 units exported. The company had sold 27,474 units in June 2024. On a half-yearly basis, TKM has recorded a 16 per cent increase in sales volume for January to June 2025 compared to the same period last year. The company reported total sales of 174,885 units in the first six months of calendar year 2025, up from 150,250 units in H1 2024.

The June 2025 performance marks a month-on-month decline of approximately 6.46 per cent compared to May 2025, when Toyota Kirloskar Motor sold 30,864 units. While this indicates a short-term dip in monthly sales volume, the company continues to demonstrate overall resilience, supported by a strong year-to-date growth trend.

According to the company, the consistent sales trajectory is backed by strong customer engagement initiatives and ongoing efforts to deliver enhanced after-sales and ownership experiences.
Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business said, “TKM sales in the month of June 2025 was 5% higher than that of June 2024. We continue to strongly engage with our customers through after sales service support offerings and value-added offerings that are aimed at enriching their ownership experience at every step.”

One of the key product highlights for the month was the launch of the updated Fortuner and Legender models under the ‘Neo Drive’ branding. These variants feature a 48-volt mild hybrid system aimed at delivering improved fuel efficiency, better performance, and greater driving refinement.

On the corporate front, TKM also made progress in the clean energy space with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ohmium International, a specialist in Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) hydrogen technology. The partnership will evaluate the potential for implementing green hydrogen-based microgrid solutions in sectors such as data centres and remote infrastructure, where sustainable and reliable energy is in high demand.
