Renault is betting big on the new-gen Duster which is slated to make its India debut on 26 January 2026.
Renault India reported a robust performance in November 2025, registering wholesales of 3,662 units. The French carmaker posted a 30.27% year-on-year (YoY) increase compared to 2,811 units in the same month last year. The growth reflects sustained customer confidence in the brand and the positive market response to Renault’s refreshed product lineup.
The company’s recently updated models—Triber and Kiger—continued to drive volumes. The new Triber recorded sales of 2,064 units, a 38.9% growth over November 2024. Meanwhile, the new Kiger posted sales of 1,151 units, translating to a notable 47.75% increase year on year. Renault also delivered 447 units of the Kwid during the month, further contributing to the overall uptick.
Renault India stated that the consistent momentum across both urban and rural regions underscores the brand’s widening appeal. This balanced market response reinforces the company’s confidence as it continues to prioritise customer satisfaction through improved product offerings, enhanced retail presence, and service accessibility.
The brand attributes its performance to growing customer trust, strengthened aftersales support, and expanding touchpoints. Renault currently operates with over 350 sales outlets and 450 service touchpoints, including more than 250 Workshop on Wheels units, supporting accessibility even in remote locations.
Looking ahead, Renault India is gearing up for a significant product push in 2026. Central to this strategy is the much-anticipated return of the next-generation Renault Duster. The company expects the new Duster to further strengthen its position in the Indian market as it transitions toward a more modern, electrified, and globally aligned portfolio.

Built on the CMF-B LS (Common Modular Family) platform the third-generation Renault Duster will be offered with multiple powertrain options including a strong hybrid. The upcoming iteration of Duster has been spotted testing on numerous occasions on Indian roads for over a year now. Upon launch, the new Renault Duster will lock horns with a plethora of compact SUVs such as Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Maruti Victoris, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun to name a few.
