Honda Cars India’s October 2025 sales hit 10,518 units, with domestic sales rising 15.3% year-on-year to 6,394 units.
Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has registered a positive sales growth for October 2025, with total dispatches reaching 10,518 units. This growth was fueled by the festive season and favourable market conditions, including the positive impact of the GST 2.0 announcement, which spurred consumer interest across the company’s product lineup.
Domestic sales demonstrated decent year-on-year improvement, with HCIL selling 6,394 units in October 2025, a 15.3% increase compared to the 5,546 units sold in the same month last year. Exports stood at 4,124 units, reflecting a slight dip from the 4,534 units exported in October 2024.
Honda sales have faced significant headwinds in recent years due to intensifying competition and the brand’s constrained engine portfolio. However, last month, the Amaze sub-compact sedan emerged as the primary growth driver in the domestic market.
Kunal Behl, Vice President of Marketing & Sales at HCIL, attributed the robust performance to heightened consumer enthusiasm during the festive period.
That said, Honda continues to lag behind key rivals such as Toyota and Hyundai in India. In today’s SUV-dominated market, its lone offering, the Elevate, has struggled to compete with models like the Creta. Hoping to spur demand, the company has now teased an 'Explorer' edition of the Elevate.
