Auto Sales September 2023: MG Motor India Registers 31 Per Cent Growth

MG Motor India has disclosed that they achieved 5,003 retail sales in September 2023, marking a substantial year-on-year growth of 31 per cent in comparison to their figures from September 2022. Significantly, electric vehicles (EVs) continue to make up approximately 25 per cent of the company's total sales, underscoring the growing popularity of EVs in their portfolio. Two specific models, the new MG ZS EV and the MG Astor Black Storm, have been well-received by customers.

It's worth highlighting that electric vehicles (EVs) continue to make a significant contribution to MG Motor India's total sales, accounting for approximately 25 per cent of the company's overall sales. Notably, in September 2022, MG Motor India sold 3,808 units, indicating a growth rate of 14.67 per cent in October 2022.

It is also noteworthy that the company achieved a significant milestone in the EV segment, with 784 units of the ZS EV sold in October 2022, marking an all-time high since its launch in 2020.
