The first CNG bike in the country from Bajaj will offer a more cost-effective solution to buyers.
At the launch of the new Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, the Pune-based legacy bikemaker also confirmed that they are all set to launch its first CNG bike on June 18. Slated to be called the Bruzer 125, the upcoming motorcycle will be mass, aimed at customers who are looking for options in the 100-125 cc segment.
Designed by Joseph Abraham, Bajaj’s Chief Technological Officer who has over 35 years of experience with the company. Joseph has been very instrumental and has also overlooked the birth of numerous Bajaj products including the Pulsar, Platina, CT, Boxer, and the Avenger.

Being a CNG bike, the Bruzer 125 is expected to deliver mileage above the extraordinaire in the segment. And Bajaj claims that the running costs will be almost half that of a contemporary petrol bike. We have already spotted the Bajaj Bruzer 125 several times before, and the camouflaged model had a very distinct rugged appeal to it.
With a 125 cc, engine, the Bruzer 125 will mainly cater to semi-urban and rural markets. Therefore, we expect the Bruzer 125 to be competitively priced somewhere in the range of ₹80,000-₹85,000 (ex-showroom). In this price range, its competitors will include the likes of the Hero Splendor Plus and xTEC, Hero Passion Plus, and the TVS Radeon.
