The Bajaj Pulsar 180 has been re-launched owing to strong demand from customers, and the motorcycle is now up to speed with new features.
Bajaj Auto has announced the revival of the Pulsar 180 in the market, bringing back the motorcycle after a brief hiatus since it was discontinued in 2022. The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 180 arrives at a price tag of ₹1.22 lakh (ex-showroom), and comes with a host of upgrades, including a new LED headlamp and indicators, a fully digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, and new body graphics. The ‘Pulsar’ brand celebrates 25 years this year, and the Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 180 have been the defining models for the series.

The Bajaj Pulsar 180 has been re-launched owing to strong demand from customers. The company is positioning the model as an upgrade for riders moving up from 150-160 cc motorcycles. The Pulsar 180 fills the gap it left between the Pulsar 150 and 220F in the brand’s stable.
Speaking about the launch, Sarang Kanade, President, MCBU - Bajaj Auto, said, “The Pulsar brand has always stood for pushing limits and redefining performance motorcycling in India. The return of the Pulsar 180 is a response to the strong and consistent demand, as well as a groundswell of love on social media. As we mark 25 years of Pulsar, bringing back this iconic nameplate feels especially meaningful. Reimagined for a new generation, it continues to embody our ‘Definitely Daring’ philosophy combining power, precision and contemporary design to deliver an experience that is both exhilarating and accessible.”

Powering the Bajaj Pulsar 180 is a 178.6 cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that develops 16.7 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 15 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. While peak power remains the same, torque is up by 0.8 Nm over the older version. The hardware remains the same with telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking performance comes from a 280 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc setup with ABS. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, and comes with a 15-litre fuel tank capacity. The ground clearance stands at 165 mm, while the bike tips the scales at 165 kg (kerb). The bike is available in five colour options.
The Bajaj Pulsar 180 takes on the TVS Apache RTR 180 2V and is ₹4,000 cheaper than the latter.
