Honda Rebel 300 Launched In India, Deliveries Will Start In October, 2026

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has officially launched the Honda Rebel 300 in the Indian market. The new Honda cruiser will be offered in two variants -standard and E-Clutch. The standard variant of the Honda Rebel 300 retails for  ₹2.22 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru)  for the Standard variant and ₹2.62 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru)  for the E-Clutch variant. The Rebel 300 will be sold exclusively through Honda BigWing dealerships and bookings for the bike have commenced at ₹5,000. As for deliveries, the company claims that the first batch of customers should get their hands on the Rebel 300 by mid-October, 2026.

The cruiser offering will be locally manufactured and not assembled, which has helped the brand in making the pricing competitive. Talking about competition, the Rebel 300 will rival the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 (price range from ₹2.08-2.21 lakh) and the Jawa 42 Bobber (₹2.05-2.20 lakh), all prices mentioned above are ex-showroom). The Honda Rebel 300 draws power from a 286 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 30 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 27.4 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring an assist and slipper clutch. As mentioned above there is also a E-Clutch variant which means you don’t have to use the clutch to change the gears or for riding the bike, thereby reducing rider effort. 

In terms of styling, the Rebel 300 blends traditional cruiser proportions with modern design cues. It features a round LED headlamp with four projector units, blacked-out engine and cycle parts, high-mounted handlebars, mid-set footpegs, and a compact fully digital instrument cluster. In fact, the Rebel 300 sold in India features a TFT console and gets turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. The minimalist bodywork and clean lines further reinforce its distinctive bobber-inspired character.

One of the biggest highlights of the Rebel 300 is its 690 mm seat height, making it one of the most accessible motorcycles in the market. The motorcycle has a kerb weight of 191 kg and features an 11.2-litre fuel tank. Built around a diamond-type steel frame, the Rebel 300 is suspended by 41 mm telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers. Braking duties are handled by a 296 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS offered as standard. The cruiser rides on 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 130/90-section front and 150/80-section rear tyres from Ceat.
