Bajaj seems to be gearing up to score another hit in the highly competitive aspirational commuter motorcycle segment.
A test mule of an upcoming Bajaj Auto motorcycle has been spotted and it is speculated to be the upcoming Pulsar N125. Bajaj recently launched a CNG motorcycle which is the world's first production CNG 2-wheeler offering and the Pulsar N125 seems to be another move in the commuter segment. Here is all you need to know from the recent sighting of this motorcycle while being tested.
The latest spy shots reveal a sporty and muscular design language. Judging by its appearance, the test bike seems to be a 125cc variant, as its design cues bear a striking resemblance to the original Bajaj Pulsar NS125, hinting at a similar displacement and entry-level positioning.

The key highlight of this test must be the sculpted fuel tank with extensions. The LED lighting is new and the tail section seems to be slightly more raised than the Pulsar NS 125 model. The overall stance of the bike appears larger than typical 125cc offerings. With the CNG Freedom 125, Bajaj has played very well with the design which is unique and looks upmarket. The same can be expected from this under-test 125cc motorcycle.
While engine details remain under wraps, information from sources leads us to speculate that the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar N125 is expected to share the same 124.5 cc engine as its counterpart, the Bajaj Pulsar NS125. This engine produces 11.82 bhp and 11 Nm and is paired with a 5-speed transmission. There is no clarity if there will be a change in engine calibration.
The Bajaj Pulsar N125 is likely to feature a diamond-type frame, similar to other Pulsar models. Suspension duties will be handled by a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock absorber at the rear. Braking will be facilitated by a front disc brake and a rear drum brake. The probability of ABS is slim but it would be great if Bajaj offered it as an option variant.
Bajaj Pulsar N125 is poised to shake up the entry-level 125cc segment. It should rival the TVS Raider and Hero Xtreme 125R by attracting young riders. Bajaj Pulsar N125 is expected to slot above the current NS125, with a price tag of ₹90,000-₹95,000 (ex-showroom). As the launch date approaches, more details are expected to surface, so stay tuned for further updates.
