It will continue to coexist with the old gen Pulsar 150 and the new Pulsar P150
Bajaj has brought out yet another 150 cc Pulsar in the form of the Pulsar N150. And as you can guess by the name, it is virtually the same single-seat version of the new-gen Pulsar P150 but with the body work of the Pulsar N160. And it costs a mere thousand rupees more. Yes, it costs Rs 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom Maharashtra).
Hence, you will find the same 149.68 cc engine that makes 14.49 bhp and 13.5 Nm, the same diamond-type frame, telescopic fork and monoshock setup as well as a front disc/rear drum brake setup like the P150 single seat. The only mechanical difference here is it gets a slightly wider 120-section rear tyre.
Visually, the superior LED projector headlight and the sharper tank shrouds are borrowed from the Pulsar N160 and Pulsar N250. And of course, the N150 stickering is a given. All of these changes has resulted in a 5 kg weight gain, as the N150 tips the scales at 145 kilos.
Considering Bajaj has three 150cc options on offer now, it will be curious to see how each one of them co-exists or if there is cannibalisation of some sorts.
