Bajaj Auto launched a new Pulsar N160 variant featuring gold USD forks and a slipper clutch.
Bajaj Auto has expanded its Pulsar N160 lineup with the introduction of a new range-topping variant. Launched at an introductory price of ₹1.22 lakh (ex-showroom), the standout mechanical update for this new iteration is the inclusion of gold-finished upside-down (USD) front forks, which aim to provide more precise handling and a premium aesthetic.
Additionally, the motorcycle now features an assist and slipper clutch, a significant addition for smoother gear shifts. Standard equipment for the variant includes an LED projector headlamp, a USB Type-C charging port, and a single-piece seat designed for improved daily commuting comfort.
Mechanically, the Pulsar N160 remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by a 164.82 cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that produces 15.7 bhp and 14.65 Nm of peak torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox. The motorcycle sits on 17-inch alloy wheels and is equipped with disc brakes at both ends, supported by dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety.

The digital instrument cluster remains a negative LCD unit, with the higher-spec versions offering Bluetooth connectivity and multiple ride modes.
The base Pulsar N160 continues to start at ₹1.16 lakh (ex-showroom), offering various configurations including single-channel and dual-channel ABS versions. Available in a palette of Pearl Metallic White, Racing Red, Grey, and Brooklyn Black, the refreshed N160 will continue its market rivalry with the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, Suzuki Gixxer, and the Yamaha FZ series.
