The largest Pulsar’s arrival was narrated by Bajaj top boss: Rajiv Bajaj

Pulsar fans, rejoice! The wait for the biggest Pulsar might be coming to an end soon. Bajaj Auto's Managing Director, Rajiv Bajaj, has confirmed that the highly anticipated Pulsar NS400 is nearing completion and is expected to be launched in early FY2025. This translates to a potential debut by April or May 2024.

While official details are yet to be revealed, speculations suggest the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 might borrow design cues from the recently updated NS200. The most significant change could be the new, aggressive front fascia featuring a full-LED headlight, replacing the traditional halogen bulb. The signature Z-shaped LED DRLs might also be carried over, adding a touch of flair. The muscular stance of the NS200 is expected to continue, but in a bulkier avatar.

The engine powering the Pulsar 400 is expected to be the 373.3 cc single-cylinder engine that does its duties on the Dominar 400 as well as the current gen KTM 390 Adventure and RC 390. We will have to wait and watch as to what tune the motor arrives in on the Pulsar. The more conservative Dominar 400 tune sees the engine pushing out 39.42 bhp and 35 Nm, while the KTMs are making 43 bhp and 37 Nm.

The instrument cluster might be the same seen on the recently updated NS200, offering features like navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. Considering its positioning as a more affordable alternative, Bajaj is expected to price the Pulsar 400 lower than the Dominar 400, which currently starts at Rs. 2.3 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
