Nissan plans to launch these ‘New Energy Vehicles’ by fiscal year 2026.
At the ongoing Auto China 2024, Nissan has unveiled four new electric vehicles that the brand is calling “New Energy Vehicles” aka NEV. These new EVs have been developed under the theme of “A New Nissan for a new era in China”, thus underscoring the brand’s latest achievement and future direction regarding electrification. Furthermore, Nissan has also announced that it will launch one more NEV in the Chinese market. Thereby, by 2026 the brand will have five new energy vehicles in the country.
As for the concept models, namely - Nissan Epoch Concept, Epic Concept, Era Concept, and Evo Concept - have been developed in collaboration with local partner Dong Feng to address the future mobility needs of customers in China.

This is a fully-electric sedan, that Nissan says will cater to urban and sub-urban consumers. The concept is also available with AI-expanded Internet of Things, its virtual personal assistant that Nissan says “will make life easier and more comfortable through communication that recognizes emotions.”

This is a fully-electric SUV that boasts of autonomous driving for both city and highways. Moreover, it also gets Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, i.e. functions as a mobile power source. Additionally, onboard technologies will also support and create a relaxing atmosphere.

This is the brand’s plug-in hybrid SUV concept vehicle that Nissan says has been designed to cater to “young businesspeople who treat their car as a second home”. One of the major highlights of this concept is its interconnected entertainment system and zero-gravity seats. It also gets Nissan’s e-4FORCE all-wheel control, and active air suspension as standard equipment.

Lastly, the Nissan Evo Concept is the brand’s plug-in hybrid sedan. Just like the Epoch concept, the Evo concept is also available with Nissan’s AI-enhanced virtual personal assistant, along with advanced driver support and safer function.
