Bentley has unveiled another exclusive commission of its Batur model, featuring the industry’s first use of 3D-printed rose gold in interior design. Dubbed ‘The Black Rose,’ this one-off is one of only three right-hand-drive Batur models set to be produced out of a total of 18 units and will cost around $2.1 million.

The 3D-printed components consist of 210 grams of 18-karat rose gold integrated into the drive-mode selector, organ-stop air vent controls, and the centre of the steering wheel. This process involves melting the metal with a laser and applying it over an aluminium core, a technique developed through a £3 million investment aimed at enhancing Bentley's ultra-luxury offerings.
Inside, the vehicle features black leather, Alcantara, and tweed upholstery, complemented by additional rose gold trim. Unlike the solid gold used for the 3D-printed elements, the interior trim utilises rose gold colouring around the dashboard, steering wheel, and centre console.

The exterior showcases a bespoke two-tone colour scheme with a Black Rose paint finish, contrasted with Beluga black. Rose gold detailing, also painted rather than solid, adorns the grille, lower bumper inserts, and 22-inch wheels.
Bentley’s Mulliner division is responsible for these bespoke finishes, using modern technology to meet specific customer requests. This contrasts with the division's traditional craftsmanship, which involved shaping bespoke bodywork with a styling buck and sheet metal tools.

Mechanically, The Black Rose retains the standard Batur model's specifications, featuring Bentley's most powerful iteration of the W12 engine, which has now ceased production. The 741 bhp engine delivers power to all four wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
