The motorcycle comes with a standard 6.5-inch TFT display that supports phone calls, music and navigation through Bluetooth connectivity.
BMW has just unveiled the F 450 RR, a supersport motorcycle developed for its F 450 family. The new model follows the F 450 GS and F 450 R and is set to replace the BMW G 310 RR. It shares its engine and underpinnings with the F 450 R streetfighter but gets a different design and riding position.
Here are the top five highlights of the BMW F 450 RR:
BMW S 1000 RR-Inspired Design
The BMW F 450 RR draws styling inspiration from the flagship S 1000 RR. It has a nose-down stance, raised tail, winglets and the signature RR flyline. The front end gets a split face, a vertically stacked LED headlight and a distinctive daytime running light design.
The asymmetrical side panels and gills on the right side are reminiscent of the first-generation BMW S 1000 RR.
The motorcycle comes with a standard 6.5-inch TFT display that supports phone calls, music and navigation through Bluetooth connectivity. M Sport versions equipped with Riding Modes Pro get three additional sport screens displaying information such as lean angle, braking force and lap times.
420 cc Parallel-Twin Engine Produces 48.7 bhp

The BMW F 450 RR is powered by a 420 cc, fuel-injected parallel-twin engine that produces 48.7 bhp at 8,750 rpm and 43 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm.
The engine uses a 135-degree crankpin offset and a balance shaft, which are designed to give it a distinctive character while keeping vibrations in check. BMW claims that 80% of the available torque is accessible from 3,000 rpm.
The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox. Shift Assistant Pro enables clutch-free upshifts and downshifts and is standard on all variants except the Base, where it is available as an option.
Sporty Riding Position, Adjustable Suspension
The F 450 RR gets clip-on handlebars mounted on a forged-aluminium triple clamp. BMW says the tank and bodywork are shaped to support the rider and help them grip the motorcycle with their knees.
The two-piece seat is 790 mm high. Buyers can opt for a sport seat that raises the height by 20 mm or a low seat that lowers it by 15 mm. Heated grips are standard, while the gearshift pattern can be reversed for track riding.

The motorcycle uses a welded steel tubular space frame, with the engine integrated as a load-bearing element. Suspension comprises a 43 mm KYB upside-down front fork and a KYB rear shock connected to an aluminium hollow-cast swingarm. The rear shock offers adjustable spring preload and rebound damping, while the Sport suspension adds adjustable rebound and compression damping at the front.
Braking is handled by a 310 mm front disc with a Brembo four-piston caliper and a 240 mm rear disc with a ByBre caliper. The motorcycle rides on cast-aluminium wheels with 110/70-17 front and 150/60-17 rear tubeless tyres.
Rider Assistance Systems, Optional Easy Ride Clutch
The BMW F 450 RR comes with ABS Pro, which supports braking while leaned over, along with Dynamic Brake Control, Dynamic Traction Control and engine drag torque control.
Rain, Road and Race riding modes are standard. Riding Modes Pro adds a configurable Race Pro mode.
An optional Easy Ride Clutch (ERC) automatically operates the clutch according to engine speed. It is designed to make low-speed riding and manoeuvring easier. When paired with Shift Assistant Pro, it also allows clutch-free gear changes.
BMW will offer the F 450 RR in four equipment variants. The Base comes in Cosmic Black. The Sport variant, finished in Racing Red, adds Shift Assistant Pro and Sport suspension. The M Sport gets Riding Modes Pro, Shift Assistant Pro and Sport suspension, along with Snaefell White paintwork and M Motorsport detailing. The range-topping M Sport with Innovation Package adds the Easy Ride Clutch.
Claimed Range Of Over 350 km
The BMW F 450 RR gets a 14-litre fuel tank, with the company claiming a range of more than 350 km. The service interval is 10,000 km.
BMW has not announced prices or market-specific launch details for the motorcycle. The F 450 RR is expected to make its India debut in the first half of 2027, with an estimated ex-showroom price of ₹4.50 lakh to ₹4.80 lakh.
