These benefits will be available at the dealership level.
Just a few weeks back, BMW Motorrad announced that it would be hiking the prices of all its bikes in India by around 2.5 per cent. This price hike will be effective from January 1, 2025, and will be done to counter the rise in input costs. So, before this hike sets in, local BMW Motorrad dealerships across the country have rolled out some exciting year-end deals to the tune of ₹50,000.
However, this offer is available only to the brand’s entry-level adventure tourer, the G 310 GS, and the benefits are mostly after-sales services in nature. Therefore, the benefits can be availed in the form of zero service cost for 3 years, free roadside assistance for 2 years, or 5 years of warranty.
Since these benefits will be provided at the dealership level, they may vary across different stores. So, to confirm with your local dealer once, before purchasing. Plus, this offer will also be valid as long as stock lasts.
The ADV continues to be offered at the same ₹3.30 lakh (ex-showroom price, Delhi), as before. The GS has lost its charm, especially when it has competitors from the likes of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, KTM 390 Adventure, and the Triumph Scrambler 400X. All three are powered by a bigger engine, more feature-rich, and offer much more value and performance than the small BMW GS.
At EICMA 2024, BMW Motorrad showcased a brand new GS called F 450 GS. Although still in the concept stages, the new BMW F 450 GS is powered by a bigger 450 cc parallel-twin engine, and with a body style that is very similar to its elder sibling the R 1300 GS. It promises to be quite the exciting and capable sub-500 cc ADV bike. For more details, check out the video below:
