The limited edition BMW G 310 RR gets some visual changes to make it stand out, but mechanically, it remains identical to the standard model.
BMW Motorrad has unveiled a limited edition version of its popular entry-level sportbike, the G 310 RR, in India. The special model has been launched to mark the brand’s milestone of crossing 10,000 unit sales of the G 310 RR in the Indian market.
Priced at ₹2.99 lakh (ex-showroom), this new variant commands a premium of ₹18,000 over the standard variant. Interested buyers can purchase this exclusive edition through any authorised BMW Motorrad dealership across the country.
This Limited Edition does not bring any upgrades in terms of mechanical components or performance. Instead, it focuses on cosmetic enhancements to distinguish itself.
The motorcycle is available in two paint schemes, Black and White, both featuring bold blue and red graphics across the front fender, fairing, and parts of the fuel tank.
Striking rim tapes on both wheels and an exclusive ‘1/310' badging further underline its limited nature and design appeal. These changes are purely aesthetic and aim to give the bike a more aggressive and sporty character.
Mechanically, the limited edition G 310 RR remains identical to the regular model. It is powered by a 312.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine delivering 34 bhp and 27Nm of torque. The engine is married to a 6-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with Michelin tyres: 110/70 at the front and 150/60 at the rear. Suspension duties are managed by inverted telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is handled by disc brakes at both ends, supported by dual-channel ABS.
For those unaware, the G 310 RR is basically a rebadged TVS Apache RR 310. However, the former does offer bragging rights that come with the BMW Motorrad badge.
