BMW Motorrad Tests New Middleweight GS Adventure Bike, Prototype Spied

BMW Motorrad is developing a new middleweight adventure motorcycle positioned to slot directly between the entry-level F 450 GS and the larger F 800/900 GS lineup, according to a new leak by Motorrad Magazin.

The spy photo captured shows a prototype of the upcoming motorcycle heavily covered in black and orange protective sheeting, attempting to conceal its final styling. Despite the heavy camouflage, the test vehicle reveals prominent adventure-touring hardware, including wire-spoke wheels, a high-mounted exhaust system, and a tall front fascia with a windscreen.

Industry speculation suggests the new model may enter the market under the resurrected F 650 GS badge.
