Compared to the standard version, the new BMW X3 30 packs more power and cosmetic enhancements in the form of the M Sport Pro package.
BMW India has launched the new X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro variant, bringing more power and cosmetic upgrades to the luxury SUV. The new BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro is priced at ₹74.50 lakh (ex-showroom), which makes about ₹2 lakh more expensive than the X3 20 xDrive. Compared to the standard version, the new X3 30 packs more power and cosmetic enhancements in the form of the M Sport Pro package. Bookings are now open for the new X3 30 xDrive and here’s everything you need to know.

The biggest upgrade on the new BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro is the updated 2.0-litre twin-turbo petrol engine. While the engine remains the same, power has gone up to 254 bhp, 67 horses more. Meanwhile, torque has seen a 30 per cent increase, up from 310 Nm to 400 Nm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels via all-wheel drive (AWD). The additional output helps the X3 30 to sprint from 0-100 kmph in 6.3 seconds, making it 1.5 seconds faster than the X3 20 trim.
Hardeep Singh Brar, President and CEO, BMW Group India said, “The BMW X3 has always been the definitive choice for those who seek a perfect blend of luxury and versatility. With introduction of the new BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro, we are taking that legacy to an enhanced level of performance and presence. Power attracts power, and the new X3 30 delivers exactly that pairing a more aggressive engine with refined luxury to create a truly spirited driving experience. With this new addition, we have further expanded the X3 offering in India to cater to our modern, performance-driven customers who demand more.”

Serving the looks for the additional power, BMW has added the M Sport Pro package to the X3 30 xDrive. Visual upgrades include the blacked-out kidney grille, smoked LED headlamps and taillights, M Sport brake calipers finished in red, and bigger 20-inch alloy wheels. In fact, the SUV gets wider tyres at the front and rear with the track width by up to 45 mm. The front wheels now ride on 255/45 R20 tyres, while the rear gets 285/40 R20 tyres. There’s the new Brooklyn Grey colour scheme as well, which did really well for the last X3, and has been brought back with the latest upgrade.

The cabin also gets upgrades with the M Sport Pro pack. This includes M Sport seatbelts, door sills, and the new Sensatec soft-touch material on the dashboard. You have the option to choose between Espresso Brown and Calm Beige interior themes. On the feature front, the SUV gets a curved display integrating the 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and infotainment system, a panoramic glass roof, a 360-degree camera, three-zone climate control, a 15-speaker sound system, Level 2 ADAS, and more. The adaptive suspension has also been carried over on the SUV.

The new BMW X3 xDrive M Sport Pro will be competing against the Mercedes-Benz GLC, Volvo XC60, Lexus RX, and Audi Q5 in the segment. The more powerful petrol option will resonate better with buyers looking at a more dynamic driving experience on the SUV.
