Available only with a petrol engine, the Signature Edition is ₹3 lakh dearer than the regular variant.
BMW India has launched a new edition of its flagship SUV called the X7 M Sport Signature Edition and it is priced at ₹1.33 crore (ex-showroom, India). Available only with the xDrive 40i petrol engine, the Signature Edition is ₹3 lakh dearer than the standard petrol variant. For the additional amount, here’s what you get with the limited edition variant.

The Signature Edition comes with Swarovski glass crystals in the headlamps, exterior accents in satin-finish aluminium as well as chrome exterior accents. The taillamps also get a refreshed design. Furthermore, the X7 M Sport Signature Edition gets two new paint shades – Tanzanite Blue and Dravit Grey.
Inside, the BMW Curved Display binnacle is now housed in leather. It also gets crystal door pins and the drive selector, iDrive controller, audio control button as well as the keyless go button get a crystalline finish. The cushions included in the second row of the X7 now get Alcantara upholstery.

The Signature Edition gets the same xDrive40i powertrain as the petrol variants of the X7. It is powered by a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder petrol engine with 375 bhp and 520 Nm with 48V mild hybrid assist. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

The X7 is priced between ₹1.30 - 1.34 crore (ex-showroom, India) and the Signature Edition sits in the middle of the pack. The X7 rivals the Mercedes-Benz GLS (1.32 - 1.37 crore) and the Audi Q7 (₹88.66 - 97.84 lakh). This makes the Mercedes the most expensive three-row Luxury SUV with an internal combustion engine (ICE) in India.
