Mahindra has teased a Women’s Edition of the XUV 7XO, expected to debut around International Women’s Day with unique styling elements.
Mahindra is preparing to introduce a special Women’s Edition of the recently launched Mahindra XUV 7XO. The company recently teased the upcoming variant through its official social media channels, hinting at an unveiling expected soon.
The teaser image shows the SUV covered with a red veil. It was shared on March 6, just ahead of International Women’s Day which is celebrated annually on March 8. While the company has not confirmed the exact launch date, the timing suggests the special edition could be revealed around the occasion.
Details about the Women’s Edition remain limited for now. However, it is expected to feature cosmetic updates compared to the standard model, potentially including unique colour options and styling enhancements.
The XUV 7XO was launched earlier this year as an updated version of the XUV700, featuring design changes and a massively revised cabin. Positioned in the mid-size SUV segment, the XUV 7XO competes with models such as the MG Hector and Tata Safari. The lineup includes six trim levels: AX, AX3, AX5, AX7, AX7T and AX7L, and it is offered in both six- and seven-seat configurations.
Design updates include a redesigned front fascia with new LED headlamps, integrated daytime running lights, a larger grille and a revised front bumper. The SUV also features new 19-inch alloy wheels and updated LED tail lamps.
Inside, the cabin adopts a layout similar to the company’s newer electric models and features a tan-brown and beige interior theme. The equipment list includes a panoramic sunroof, Level 2+ ADAS, triple-screen display setup, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, ambient lighting, ventilated seats, a wireless charger, connected car technology and a 540-degree camera system.
Powertrain options include a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 197 bhp and 380 Nm of torque, and a 2.2-litre turbo diesel generating 182 bhp and 450 Nm. Both engines are available with manual and automatic transmissions, while all-wheel drive is offered on select variants.
The new DaVinci dampers used in the Mahindra XUV 7XO employ a specially engineered piston valve with unique shim stacks that regulate oil flow according to piston speed. This setup allows the suspension to stay softer over minor road imperfections while becoming firmer over larger bumps and rough surfaces.
