Bolt.Earth and Statiq announce partnership for interoperable four-wheeler DC fast-charging access via a single app.
Bolt.Earth, India's largest peer-to-peer EV charging network, and Statiq, a rapidly expanding provider of AC and high-speed DC fast-charging solutions for four-wheelers, have entered into a strategic partnership to improve nationwide access to electric vehicle charging.
The collaboration introduces interoperability for four-wheeler fast-charging (DC) across both networks. Users can discover, access, and pay for chargers from either platform through a single application, eliminating the need for multiple apps.
By combining Statiq's extensive DC fast-charging infrastructure with Bolt.Earth's universal platform, the partnership provides expanded coverage across major cities, highways, and key corridors, supporting urban and intercity travel.
Akshit Bansal, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Statiq, stated that the alliance connects robust networks to offer more options and a unified experience, advancing an open ecosystem for greater EV adoption.
S Raghav Bharadwaj, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Bolt.Earth, emphasised interoperability as essential for the future, noting that the integration reduces range anxiety and simplifies the process with real-time availability and seamless payments.
The initiative addresses common challenges by delivering reliable charging through combined networks and improved digital interfaces.
Bolt.Earth operates over 1,00,000 chargers across 1,900+ cities, supporting two-, three-, and four-wheelers with standard and fast options via its app-enabled platform. Statiq manages more than 10,000 chargers in over 1,000 cities, covering highways, commercial areas, workplaces, and residential locations through an integrated app platform.
The two companies claim that this partnership aims to make EV charging more accessible and convenient, contributing to smoother electric mobility experiences across India.
