BREAKING - Honda Activa Electric Scooter To Be Unveiled On November 27

Honda has sent out an invite for a press conference mentioning that it will unveil the next era of mobility and “watts ahead”. This leads us to believe that the upcoming product could be the first electric scooter from Honda. It’s no secret that Honda has been working on an electric scooter for the Indian market as all its rivals, such as Bajaj, TVS and Hero MotoCorp, are already present in the market and registering good sales.

The upcoming scooter could be called the Honda Activa Electric or the Honda Activa E. Given how popular and important the Activa brand is for the Japanese giant, the same could be used for its first electric scooter as well. The Honda Activa E will be unveiled on November 27 but an official launch is expected only in the first half of 2025. The styling of the upcoming Honda electric scooter is likely to be based on the Activa to maintain its familiarity with the Indian audience. While specs of the Activa electric aren't out yet, we expect it to have a real world range of close to 100 km and a top speed of around 70 kmph. 

What we know for sure is that the Honda Activa E might get removable batteries, something that we have already seen on the Vida V1. The next journey for Honda in the Indian two-wheeler space looks exciting and the Activa electric could have a huge impact on the electric scooter market given the fact that Honda is the scooter king of our market.
