Despite the price revision, it’s still an expensive affair.
Brixton Motorcycles has revised the asking price of the Crossfire 500XC from ₹5,19,499 (ex-showroom) to ₹4.92 lakh (ex-showroom). This is quite a significant price reduction of ₹27,499, and it brings it very close to the Brixton Crossfire 500 (roadster), which will set you back by ₹4.75 lakh (ex-showroom). Despite this price slash, Brixton Motorcycles has not made any changes to the bike, nor has there been any exclusion in terms of features.
The Brixton Crossfire 500XC continues to be powered by the same 486 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, which delivers 47.6 bhp and 43 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch available as standard.
On the hardware front, the Brixton 500 XC gets a USD fork and a monoshock setup sourced from KYB and is fully adjustable. The 500 XC rides on 19-/17-inch tubeless spoke wheels fitted with dual-purpose Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR rubbers and has a seat height of 838 mm. A disc brake at both ends from J.Juan is another major highlight here, and dual-channel ABS is available as standard.
Feature-wise, the Brixton Crossfire 500 XC gets a circular inverted display, but there is no Bluetooth connectivity on offer here; therefore, there are no navigation or phone alerts on offer here. However, LED headlight and taillight are available as standard with the bike.
The price slash will help position the Brixton Crossfire 500 XC more competitively against parallel-twin cylinder engine-powered scrambler-styled bikes, which include the Royal Enfield Bear 650, Moto Morini Seiemezzo, and the Benelli Leoncino 500.
