European-designed, Chinese-manufactured adventure bike which looks like a former version of the Royal Enfield's adventure bike
The Brixton Storr 500 has officially entered production in China. The European-designed, Chinese-manufactured bike was first showcased as a concept at the 2022 EICMA show in Milan and has now started reaching dealers under the Gaokin Moto brand.

Despite facing financial hurdles and delays, the KSR Group, Brixton's parent company, has overcome restructuring and is now poised to launch the Storr 500 internationally. With production underway, one can expect the bike to hit global markets soon. A unique blend of European design and Chinese manufacturing should make this offering competitive and nice at a price point.

The Brixton Storr 500 can be referred to as the "Chinese Himalayan" due to its striking resemblance to the Royal Enfield Himalayan 411. However, the Storr 500 has unique features, including protective panels on either side of the nose and tank, tie-down brackets on top of the tank, and a portrait-oriented TFT dashboard.

Powering the Brixton Storr 500 is a 486cc parallel twin engine, producing 47 bhp and 43 Nm, paired with a 6-speed transmission. The bike features a wire-spoked wheel setup, with a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel.

With its competitive pricing and feature-packed spec sheet, the Brixton Storr 500 is set to shake up the adventure bike market. As the international launch approaches, enthusiasts eagerly await the arrival of this exciting new contender.
