The Gold Star 650-based retro scrambler will lock horns with the Royal Enfield Bear 650
After unveiling it at the Birmingham NEC Show 2024, Classic Legend’s British heritage brand – BSA – will be launching the B65 Scrambler in the next couple of months. The scrambler is a derivative of the Gold Star 650 with a bit more ruggedness added to the equation.
The B65 Scrambler has a macho personality with its high-rise front fender and simple British scrambler looks. Classic Legends hasn’t gone the whole hog with the B65 as it will be more on the lines of an urban scrambler. So, while the same 652 cc liquid-cooled thumper has the same 45 bhp and 55 Nm on hand, we hope that there are some tweaks to the rideability of the bike. More so, the ergonomics and suspension travel are changed to handle rough roading, with 19-/17-inch dual-purpose Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres to be found on the B65.
It will be positioned above the Gold Star 650, which currently starts from ₹2.99 lakh (ex-showroom India). Hence, expect the B65 Scrambler to carry a sticker price of around ₹3.30 lakh, making it a serious consideration over the Royal Enfield Bear 650.
