Alongside the launch of the motorcycle, BSA had announced that the new Gold Star 650 would be available for deliveries soon thereafter. And merely a day later, the deliveries of the same bike commenced with the early ones being delivered in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, quite close to the Pithampur plant where the bikes are made.
BSA’s contender surely has received quite some interest as it is a different take in the 650 cc retro motorcycle class. So far, we have the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the Kawasaki Z650RS, both of which are twin-cylinder motorcycles. The BSA’s lumpy single is on par in terms of on-paper performance with the Interceptor, providing a bit more torque. Head here to know how the two bikes square up.
Classic Legends seems to have stepped up its game and we are finally happy to see the company deliver on the promise it held with its three iconic brands in 2024. The Jawa 350 was a charming start, the Yezdi Adventure was a remarkably improved motorcycle and the new Gold Star 650 aims to be a great throwback to simpler times. We hope to ride the Gold Star 650 soon and bring you all the dope on the same.
