Prices in the BYD range currently start at ₹24.99 lakh for the entry-level Atto 3 in India.
China's largest automaker BYD is set to raise the prices of its entire India model range by 2 to 3 per cent from 1 May 2026, with rising input costs cited as the reason behind the decision, according to sources familiar with the matter, says a report by Car&Bike. The Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer currently offers four battery electric vehicles in India, including the Atto 3 SUV, eMAX 7 MPV, Seal executive sedan and Sealion 7 premium SUV.
Prices in the BYD range currently start at ₹24.99 lakh for the entry-level Atto 3 and extend to ₹54.90 lakh for the top-specification Sealion 7, all figures ex-showroom.
The upcoming increase will be the second price adjustment BYD has made in India this year.
Earlier in January 2026, the company raised the price of the base variant of its flagship Sealion 7 by ₹50,000, leaving the remaining variants and all other models unchanged. The May revision will mark the first time the full lineup has been subject to a price increase simultaneously.
