Since its debut, the Seal has sold 1,300 units in India, while the Atto 3 has recorded 3,100 units in sales.
Marking the first anniversary of its Seal electric sedan in India, BYD has launched updated versions of both the Seal and Atto 3 for the 2025 model year. The company has also announced that bookings for the refreshed models are now open, with the Atto 3 requiring a booking amount of ₹30,000, while the Seal demands ₹1.25 lakh. Since its debut, the Seal has sold 1,300 units in India, while the Atto 3 has recorded 3,100 units in sales.
The 2025 Atto 3 introduces several enhancements, including a new all-black interior and ventilated front seats. One of the most significant upgrades is the introduction of a new Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery. According to BYD, this battery is six times lighter than conventional low-voltage batteries, has five times lower self-discharge consumption, and boasts a lifespan of up to 15 years.

Introductory Pricing for first 3000 customers
Variant | Price |
|---|---|
| Atto 3 Dyanamic | ₹24.99 lakh |
| Atto 3 Premium | ₹29.85 lakh |
| Atto 3 Superior | ₹33.99 lakh |
The Atto 3 continues to be offered with two battery options—49.92 kWh and 60.48 kWh—delivering an ARAI-certified range of 468 km and 521 km, respectively. It is available in three trims: Dynamic, Premium, and Superior, priced at ₹24.99 lakh, ₹29.85 lakh, and ₹33.99 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
The 2025 BYD Seal also receives a range of updates including a power sunshade and a newly introduced silver-plated dimming canopy. The sedan’s air-conditioning system has been upgraded with a larger compressor and a new air purification module, which is expected to enhance cabin comfort.

A key mechanical improvement comes in the form of Frequency Selective Dampers (FSD), now standard on the Seal Premium variant—previously exclusive to the Performance trim. The Seal Performance variant, on the other hand, benefits from BYD’s advanced DiSus-C suspension system, designed to improve stability and ride comfort by making real-time adjustments to the dampers based on thousands of inputs per second.
Inside, the Seal now features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. Additionally, BYD has introduced a "sound wave function," which generates analogue sound waves to enhance the driving and acoustic experience within the cabin.
