The company extended GST benefits to customers, reducing prices on the New Nissan Magnite by up to ₹1 lakh, contributing to the sales increase.
Nissan Motor India achieved consolidated sales of 9,675 units in October 2025, registering a 45 per cent increase from September 2025. The company reported domestic sales of 2,402 units during the month, whilst exports reached 7,273 units.
The growth in sales came during the festive season of Navratri, Dussehra and Diwali, a period of heightened consumer demand in the automotive market. The company extended GST benefits to customers, reducing prices on the New Nissan Magnite by up to ₹1 lakh, contributing to the sales increase.

The Nissan Magnite emerged as the primary driver of the company's sales performance. The model recorded strong demand across the domestic market, supported by the launch of the KURO Special Edition and the introduction of a new Metallic Grey colour variant. Nissan also expanded its CNG retrofitment programme to include the Magnite BR10 EZ-Shift (AMT), offering customers additional powertrain options.
Over the past four months, Nissan's performance has been marked by growth in both domestic and export operations. In October, the company reached a cumulative export milestone of 1.2 million vehicles, reinforcing its position as a manufacturer of vehicles for markets beyond India. The Magnite has been the leading model in the export segment, supporting this achievement.
Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, attributed the month's performance to festive demand and the GST reduction announced by the government. The company stated it had focused on reducing dealer inventory whilst improving supply alignment throughout the period.
Nissan is preparing for three new model launches, which include the Tekton compact SUV and a seven-seater C-SUV based on the Tekton. The company operates across 65 markets globally and continues to expand its dealer network in India to support these launches.
