Castrol India has launched three new lubricants under its Auto Care range. The three lubricants – Throttle Body Cleaner, Fuel Injector and Carburettor Cleaner, and Brake Cleaner. Castrol says these new products will help mechanics “clean critical vehicle components more effectively and efficiently”.
Rohit Talwar, Vice President-Marketing at Castrol India, said, “With these new additions to our Auto Care range, we are offering professional-grade solutions crafted to meet the needs of vehicles operating in today’s challenging driving and road conditions.”
The Brake Cleaner has low Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) content, is non-chlorinated, is a fast-acting solution, which Castrol says “safely removes dirt and carbon deposits from brake pads and discs”. It is said to improve braking performance for both two- and four-wheelers.
The Throttle Body Cleaner is a fast-drying solution which is said to remove carbon residue and offer smooth idling, improved efficiency and throttle response. Castrol claims it is safe for sensitive components in electronic throttle control systems.
The Fuel Injector and Carburettor Cleaner is again built for two- and four-wheelers with fuel injectors and carburettors. Castrol says this solvent-based formula “dissolves stubborn carbon deposits”, which in turn improves efficiency and reduces emissions.
