Chris Hemsworth’s Unique Chopper In Furiosa Sneak Peak Is Ready To Fly!

As we near the release of the second installation of the Mad Max Fury franchise, its latest teaser gives us a fair idea about the kind of actions the movie will pack in. But as auto enthusiasts, we were in awe of Chris Hemsworth’s unique chopper that the actor shared on his social media handle. 

Powered by a radial engine (the kind you see used in airplanes), Hemsworth’s chopper looks rad and properly post-apocalyptic in its stance. We can easily gauge the amount of work that has gone into making this bike the kind of looker it is. Right from that sculpted fuel tank to the skid plate protecting the radial engine, and the minimalistic body design. The bike also seems to be fitted with a transfer case instead of a chain/belt to drive the rear wheel. The wheels are fitted with knobbies that should aid in better traction control in the desert, but that long front rake angle raises some serious doubts. 

George Miller’s post-apocalyptic world in the Mad Max Fury stories presents a very hostile setup. Surviving the harshness of the barren wastelands is not enough, and moving constantly becomes a prerequisite. Along the way, getting into brawls with warlords over control of natural resources adds another dimension to this whole experience. So as important as it is to have a mode of transport, it also needs to double up as a battle tank. 

Chris Hemsworth’s character is that of one such warlord, and the bike used in this movie is a reflection of the kind of character he is. We can’t wait to catch this movie, just so that we can listen to how that radial engine sounds.
