With Basalt’s price range topping out at ₹13.57 lakh, it significantly undercuts most of its rivals in the compact SUV segment. A point to note here is that the ₹7.99 lakh price tag will be for the petrol engine, while the turbo-petrol engine is expected to start under ₹10 lakh. For the purpose of this comparison, only the entry-level engines of the rivals are being considered.
